Here are some general reminders:

  1. The Capstone Proposals and Project Guidelines is the final authority for the capstone proposal and project.
  2. University College follows the Turabian parenthetical citations—reference list style (also known as author-date style) in A manual for writers of research papers, theses, and dissertations: Chicago style for students and researchers (Turabian 2007).This is also known as Turabian parenthetical citations (P) – reference list (R) style of documentation. DO NOT use notes (N) – bibliography (B).
  3. An application for graduation must be submitted no later than the first day of the term, two quarters in advance of the anticipated graduation date. Please make sure you plan accordingly.
  4. Advisors must approve the proposal before the student submits it to Student Services.
